Optical Imaging
is seeking a motivated scientist to work in a team on an advanced
medical product development for the ophthalmology market. The successful
candidate must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (biomedical engineering,
(bio)physics, biology or physical chemistry) with at least 3 years
of post-doctoral experience, an established record of individual accomplishment,
a demonstrated proficiency in optical physics, biology, image processing
and algorithms development. Prior experience with visible- and near-infrared-light
imaging, image processing, Matlab and/or LabVIEW programming development
is expected. Other requirements include ability to work independently,
as well as part of a team, strong verbal and written communication
skills in both Hebrew and English, strong motivation and most importantly
a high level of creativity.

| Software-Algorithm
position |
The
position is a software development position, which requires skills
in general programming, image processing and most importantly algorithms.
The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be to implement
algorithm requirement specifications within the context of an existing
application framework. Image processing tasks are central to these
requirements. The candidate will also contribute to ongoing requirements
generation and the future expansion and development of the application
framework itself. The candidate will need to understand and be involved
in planning the development of the entire chain of system operations,
from data acquisition to summary report production. A candidate for
this position will have an M.Sc. or Ph.D in a field which has given
them experience in one or more of the major skill areas implied above,
and/or listed below.

Aplication Developer |
The position is a programming
position which requires a good general background in spec generation,
programming and specifically with skills and experience with .NET
/ C# programming. Familiarity with image processing and statistics
is required. Programming experience with LabVIEW is considered highly
advantageous. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating
specifications for the development of new software, new software
development, and planning and implementing the transition from an
existing LabVIEW-based image and data analysis application to a
C#/C++ implementation. Some maintenance duties pertaining to the
existing application code will also be required during the transition
period; on-the-job training for this task will be provided as required.
A candidate for this position will have a first or second degree
in computer or mathematical sciences. Other technical education
will be accepted if accompanied by relevant industry programming
experience. At least five years' post-degree experience is required,
and at least one of this in .NET / C# /C++ programming, and at least
a year of image processing experience.
