Visualization of the Dynamics of Visually Evoked Orientation Column Responses in Adult Cat Primary Visual Cortex
Trial-averaged images recorded using the Imager 3001. Initial stimulus was a drifting vertical or horizontal grating, which changed to an orthogonal grating preceding the beginning of the shift in cortical response.
